{September 3, 1875 (Vratislavice nad Nisou, Czech Republic) – January 30, 1951 (Stuttgart, Germany)}
We honor Ferdinand Porsche through the luxury and glamor of one of our hotel rooms, with a double bed.
Luxury is represented in the bedside tables and carpets, through the black tubes, which represent the racing lines, and through the red lights on the desk, the characteristic color of the Porsche brand.
Please also check the other rooms in the Executive category: Francis Bacon, Joan Miró, Kazimir Malevich, Robert Rauschenberg, Oscar Wilde, Niki de Saint Phalle, Janis Joplin, Eileen Gray, Oskar Barnack, Alberto Giacometti, Man Ray, Le Corbusier, Anais Nin, Nikola Tesla, Astor Piazzolla and Maria Helena Vieira da Silva.
Ferdinand Porsche was the automotive engineer and founder of the Porsche automobile company.
He was known for creating the first gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle and Porsche automobiles.
Furthermore, Porsche designed the “1923 Benz Tropfenwagen”, which was the first racing car with a rear-wheel drive mid-engine device.
In 1996, Porsche was inducted into the “International Motorsport Motorcycle Show” and, in 1999, won the “Car Engineer of the Century” award.
