Executive - Maria Helena Vieira da Silva
{Lisbon, Portugal, June 13, 1908 - Paris, France, March 6, 1992}
In our 5-star Torel Avantgarde we designed a room for the famous Portuguese painter Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, with a breathtaking view of the Douro River and the possibility of a double or twin bed.
The head of the bed, as well as the tones of the room, are based on a painting that Maria did. Other elements in the decoration of the room referring to the artist's life are the wooden easel, the wicker chair and the benches where she painted when she lived in Paris.
* An extraordinary room category in the most artistic hotel in Porto.
