Guillaume Apollinaire
25th August, 1880 (Rome, Italy) – 9th November, 1918 (Paris, France)
A room in honor of the writer of the avant-garde theories and the inspiration of many avant-garde artists, could not be missing from our Torel Avantgarde, based in the center of Porto.
Our boutique hotel represents this poet in one of its rooms with a balcony, an Executive Superior, that shocks those who enter, due to the use of black in contrast with the wood.
This contrast represents the two opposite sides of the avant-garde, intensity on the one hand and lightness on the other.
Guillaume Apollinaire is shown in a portrait, with his accomplices and friends.
