About The Artist...
Man Ray, born Emmanuel Radnitzky, was an American visual artist who spent most of his career in France.
He contributed significantly to the Dada and Surrealism Movements, although his ties were informal.
Despite having produced great works on different media platforms, Man Ray considered himself a painter.
Well known for his photograms, he nicknamed them “rayographs”, in reference to himself.
Some of his Main Works:
Le Violon d’Ingres
Glass tears
Dust breeding
L’Enigme d’Isidore Ducasse
“Today’s tricks are tomorrow’s truths.” – Man Ray
