Charles & Ray Eames

17th June, 1907 (Missouri, USA) – 21st August, 1978 (Missouri, USA)
15th December, 1912 (California, USA) – 21st August, 1988 (California, USA)

In Torel Avantgarde, we pay tribute to the duplicity and complicit of the couple, through one of our hotel rooms in the Executive Category.

In this room, with a twin bed, we represent their origin – Morocco, the couple’s passion for African art, and the fact that they are lovers of literature, through the design and accessories chosen for the room, the red carpet, and the books that we incorporated into the room decoration.

The choice of white for the walls represents the simplicity, without compromising the luxury, of its designs. They worked a lot with wooden panels, a material that we chose to incorporate in the bathroom.

In addition, they sought to create functional, good, and accessible designs for anyone, an idea that is represented through the plastic element.

Finally, we honor the couple using their most famous design: the Eames lounge chair.
